Electra Willis LSW, LCADC

Hello, my name is Electra Willis. I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC).  Like many, I am sure that you are experiencing the weight and gravity of how life has so drastically changed. When you live in crisis, the impact creates a lot of fear, uncertainty, and anxiety. Understandably, your mental health is suffering. I am a multi-disciplined therapist experienced in working with families, children, and adults. I believe in self-determination. Therefore, my role is to guide you to a place of self-acceptance and authenticity. I will help you become your best “you.”

My strengths lie in my ability to be genuine, empathetic, and concrete. My motto is you are entering the “No Judgment Zone.” I hope to hear from you soon so that we can begin to find workable solutions to the challenges you may be facing.

Most often clients seeking therapy are looking for workable solutions to the myriad of situations and circumstances that arise in their lives. The therapeutic approaches I utilize such as DBT, CBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational 1 Interviewing, Mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy can help those clients find those workable solutions.

Yulisa Aquino, MA, LAMFT (she/her)

Creating an environment where people can truly be themselves and feel safe at the same time is a critical part of therapy. I believe that having support can make a world of difference in someone’s journey. I believe in meeting clients where they are in life and strengthening the systems of care that they have around them. I aim to give client’s emotions precedence across treatment given its powerful role in structuring a client’s inner experience and patterns in relationship. I know that relationships are a crucial part of our everyday lives, that impacts us, and our experiences and I would like to help my clients navigate and process those experiences. I assist my clients in identifying relationship patterns and helping them discover how those patterns are being maintained, focusing on reshaping patterns of engagement with significant others.

I am focused on creating an experience in therapy that is compassionate and empowering to every client’s growth. While working with couples, I have understood the need of meeting them where they are, understanding who they are as individuals and a unit and helping them come together to resolve their issues. In working with families, I understand the importance of reframing their presenting problem to allow for a different view of the issue that highlights the way one member influences another. This creates different possibilities in members supporting and caring for each other. I continuously strive to create a space where clients feel safe to vent, be challenged, and comfortable enough to grow. I have experience with working with a range of presenting problems, such as depression, trauma, sexual assault, anxiety and boundaries issues.

My experience with working with the LGBTQ+ community has allowed me to be an ally through support and validation that allows for a space of healing and personal growth. Through my experience as a bilingual therapist, I aim to help clients have the space to process new transitions, culture and evolving identities. My goal in therapy consistently is to give a space to people who feel like they might not have none or have been overlooked. I aim to empower every client’s voice to advocate and stand up for themselves in every way it counts.
